In January of 2000, my
wife and I were introduced to Texas Residential Mortgage. The proposition of
opening a "Net Branch" with the requirements they suggested sounded too good
to be true. After working 5 years with local Mortgage Bankers, Tri-State
Mortgage and previously 5 years working with The Mortgage Corp., we decided
that we would give it a try, and we opened up Branch #510 in March of 2000.
We are now starting into our 7th year with Southwest Funding and this was
the best decision we ever made. Texas Residential was always willing to
complete and submit required Branch Approval paperwork from Lenders we were
familiar with. Texas Residential, now Southwest Funding, a nationally
recognized Net Branch Company, lets you run your own shop and have the
security of the Corporate Staff that assists you all the way. They encourage
Branch Managers to focus on production and they make the rest happen!
Jim Klahn,
Branch Manager #510
I became
a branch in 1999. I was part of another net branch that shut their doors.
I had several loans, including FHA, in underwriting when this happened
and time was of the essence. I called some of my key account reps for
recommendations of net branches they would recommend. I received good
recommendations about “Texas Residential Mortgage” as well as three others.
Two of the others, as well as Texas Residential, I was reasonably impressed
with. They were all excited about me coming on board but only Texas
Residential was willing to go through the needed work and assistance in the
complications of changing case numbers and everything involved with the FHA
loans I desperately needed to close that were getting older by the day. They
have only continued to impress me with their dedication and commitment to
being not one of the best but THE BEST net branch operation in the nation.

Entering my 5th year
with Southwest Funding, coming from a Net branch at Network Funding
and managing a Countrywide branch for a combined experience of over 17
years, I can say that honesty, loyalty, innovation, service, and name
recognition in the industry is what I found working with Southwest
Funding, it is good to be on your own, but being with Southwest Funding is
even better.
Edward Arif, Branch Manager #546
I was in
the mortgage business for 3yrs before I met Southwest Funding. As an
independent broker I saw the many advantages of working with a large fast
growing company. After talking with many other companies I made the decision
to join up with Southwest Funding in July 2002. Yes they have many lenders
to chose from, yes they are licensed in many states but what I appreciate
the most is how the staff at the corporate office really care about you and
your success and will assist you in many ways. I feel I am not just another
number in the crowd. Working hard and smart along with the support of
Southwest Funding makes the mortgage business a profitable journey.

I have
been in the mortgage business for 13 years and In that time, I have been
associated with six different net branch concepts - Some good, some not so
good. Being associated with Southwest Funding and its staff of
friendly and highly qualified associates has been a very positive experience
for my branch. We are truly the #1 Net Branch Concept – period! The problems
I experienced with the other NB concepts were never and have never been an
issue. You will never have to worry about being compensated for loans that
close! You will get paid – end of story! If you’re looking for the final
stop in this business – I believe it’s here at SWF!

I've
been in the mortgage business for 15 years. After running my business
independently for most of those 15 years, I decided to check out the net
branch opportunities. I took advantage of the net branch option with
another net branch company, which proved to be a nightmare. I talked with
Southwest Funding and decided to give it another try and after 3 years have
found them to be supportive and given me the latitude to do business as
I have for years. Their in house lender Overland Mortgage has also been our
lender of choice. With communication, support, they have my best interest
in the forefront. If you're looking for opportunities as a net branch, look
no further than Southwest Funding. Take it from someone that's been there.

My experience with
Southwest Funding as a Branch Manager has been excellent. I find the staff
at our corporate office to be helpful and very knowledgeable as well as
friendly and considering the fast paced world that we live in today these
qualities are priceless. Southwest Funding has the resources it takes to
build a strong foundation for anybody to succeed. Southwest Funding is one
of the top companies who has paved the road to the free enterprise system in
the mortgage industry and has enabled me to use my years of experience to
build a business of my own.
