Mortgage Broker

A person who arranges mortgage loans through mortgage bankers. This person acts as a middleman and does not have the ability to make credit decisions. A mortgage broker can work with several mortgage bankers which can give them access to a greater number of loan products. Southwest Funding mortgage retail branch offices are mortgage bankers but have the ability to operate as a mortgage broker giving them the ultimate flexibility and competitive advantage.
