Automated Underwriting System

This is a software-driven process that provides an immediate determination of eligible or ineligible status to the mortgage banker for the loan applicant. Southwest Funding retail mortgage branch offices each have access to both Fannie Mae Desktop Originator and Freddie Mac Loan Prospector as well as other automated underwriting systems.
