Is Southwest Funding HUD approved?

Yes. Southwest Funding first obtained HUD approval in 1996 and has maintained approval since that time. Currently, the company enjoys approval under the Direct Endorsement program which allows us to underwrite and close FHA mortgage loans without prior HUD review. Southwest Funding has successfully passed numerous HUD audits over the years and continually self monitors itself through Neighborhood Watch.
