Branch Manager Minimum Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for approval as a Branch Manager of Southwest Funding, an applicant must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements, as well as additional eligibility requirements that are listed in the application package. Each application will be reviewed on an individual basis. Southwest Funding works with mortgage professionals who are well rounded and have demonstrated the financial ability, reputation, and mortgage experience to manage a branch office.

Credit

  • Minimum middle FICO score 580
  • Average daily personal bank account balance of at least $3500 last 60 days
  • No judgments (other than medical)
  • No outstanding tax liens unless in repayment with 12 months good history (state or federal)
  • No federal student loans in default

Experience

  • Currently a "Full Time" Mortgage Originator or Branch Manager
  • Personal production of at least 75 funded loans in last 3 years

Character

  • Mortgage license (Lender/Broker/Originator) has never been revoked
  • No felony convictions
  • Strong industry references

Other

  • Commercial office space (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
  • No ownership or involvement with other "real estate" related companies
