I became a Branch Manager of Southwest Funding in 1999. My former company had shut their doors and I had several loans in underwriting when this happened and time was of the essence. I called some of my key account reps for recommendations on other opportunities they would recommend. I received good recommendations about Southwest Funding. They have only continued to impress me with their dedication and commitment to being not one of the best but THE BEST mortgage company in the nation.
I began working with Southwest after a bad experience with a mortgage net branch company. Everyone at Southwest Funding was immediately helpful and positive in helping me through the transition. I am totally confident that Southwest Funding is the best organization in the industry. We have lots of mortgage products available and I never lose a deal to the competition. Payroll is always exactly what I am expecting and always on time! The staff at our corporate office is friendly and professional. I chose Southwest Funding because of the company’s culture. When meeting everyone, it seemed more like a family atmosphere rather than a corporate one where you are just a number. Southwest Funding gives me the help when I need it while letting me run my business. This is a big plus because I am busy getting new business and not having to attend constant meetings that would interfere with my business building. I enjoy being able to talk to underwriters when needed to work out complicated issues. It does not happen often but when it does, it’s nice to know they have the time to talk. Also, our Closing Department is awesome to work with. From the Manager to the Closers, they work hard to get out packages as quickly as possible.

Once I opened my branch, I really got to see what Southwest Funding was made of! The underwriting staff is knowledgeable, extremely accommodating and works extra hours to make sure our files are taken care quickly. The product options have made me the go to niche company in my area and the payroll system is better than any JOB I have ever worked, in the industry or outside of it.
